In deze brochure een overzicht van kunstwerken van Charlotte Schrameijer . Zij maakt collages/papercut art.
Charlotte: “In mijn werk combineer ik de onrust die ik voel over alles wat gaande is in de wereld met mijn behoefte aan schoonheid en harmonie. Onze wereld raakt steed meer ontwricht maar nog steeds blijven we dansen op de rand van de vulkaan. Foto’s waar landschappen getuigen van deze ontwrichting gebruik ik in mijn collages. Ik snijd ze uit en combineer ze met poëtische natuurbeelden. Ik laat de fragmenten ogenschijnlijk spiegelen zodat een nieuw landschap ontstaat met een nieuwe samenhang, die harmonieus lijkt maar het niet is. Door het snijwerk ontstaat een grillig en kwetsbaar kantwerk en die kwetsbaarheid is een wezenlijk onderdeel van het werk.

This brochure contains an overview of artworks by Charlotte Schrameijer . She makes collages/papercut art.
Charlotte: “In my work I combine the anxiety I feel about everything that is going on in the world with my need for beauty and harmony. Our world is becoming more and more disrupted, but we still keep dancing on the edge of the volcano. I use photos in which landscapes bear witness to the disruption in my collages. I cut them out and combine them with poetic images of nature. I have the fragments apparently mirrored so that a new landscape is created with a new coherence, which seems harmonious but is not. The carving creates a whimsical and vulnerable lace and that vulnerability is an essential part of the work.
