Sollas ontwikkelt al 75 jaar verpakkingsmachines. Het bedrijf uit Wormer heeft innovatie, kwaliteit en duurzaamheid hoog in het vaandel staan. Zeker op duurzaamheid blijven ze innoveren. Zo ontwikkelde ze een volinslagmachine die in plaats van met het gebruikelijke kunststoffolie ook met papier kan verpakken.

Een volinslagverpakkingsmachine vouwt een vel folie of papier stijlvol en strak om een doosje. Deze verpakking is te herkennen aan de vouwen in envelopstijl aan twee zijkanten van het product. Het gebruik van papier in plaats van folie is veel duurzamer en heeft een heel eigen uitstraling. Om dat te laten zien hebben we twee soorten doosjes gemaakt die gebruikt worden bij demo’s van de machine op beurzen.

Sollas has been developing packaging machines for 75 years. The company from Wormer attaches great importance to innovation, quality and sustainability. They continue to innovate, especially in terms of sustainability. For example, she developed a full packing machine that can also pack in paper instead of the usual plastic foil.

A full impact packaging machine folds a sheet of foil or paper stylishly and tightly around a box. This packaging can be recognized by the envelope-style folds on two sides of the product. The use of paper instead of foil is much more sustainable and has a unique look. To show this, we have made two types of boxes that are used for demos of the machine at trade shows.
